Portraits in available light

A few weeks back I attended Gerhard Steenkamp’s workshop – Portraits with available light.

It started the Friday evening with some theory (presented by Frikkie Kapp) followed by a practical session the next day that lasted for the duration of the morning. This workshop was obviously for those who have done his basic photography course or for someone who knows a little bit about photography. It was great fun and we learned allot. I was was also reminded of some of the stuff that we sometimes forget. For those that are interested, I can recommend his courses / workshops!

None of these shots was taken with flash, only with available light and the use of some reflectors. No Photoshop was used to edit the photos, only a little bit of “Lightroom”. Here are some of my favorites…

Gerhard - Great shots Francois…Well done…!!! Dankie dat jy die workshop bygewoon het. Vgl workshop is 13 November vir die wat belangstel.
